Dear Fender Play Families,
Thank you for your attendance, enthusiasm, and patience with our first day of the program. Some students had issues with Schoology, Zoom and Fender Play, and I was busy with many of you in determining the exact cause. I have some important and helpful information for you:
Regarding issues with Enrollment:
- You may not have access to Schoology, and therefore Zoom or Fender Play, due to your enrollment status in LA Unified. If you have left the District or have not attended school this semester, you may not have access to District programs designed for LA Unified students.
- Your sync to Schoology may not be processed, for some reason, by the time the class started. Many of you have emailed me to say that everything worked well when you went back in to Schoology.
- The problems may have been with a network that a teacher was using. We are addressing this issue so that September 23rd is smooth for everyone.
The information below will lead you the information you will need and to the personnel who can assist you.
For challenges with Schoology (remember, Zoom and Fender Play are INSIDE your Schoology course):

Fender and LA Unified are now addressing instrument/amplifier/accessory issues. If you have not been contacted yet by Fender, your student is welcome to bring the same concern you have reported to the student’s teacher, so that the teacher can be aware of the issue and also report it as an extra notification for Fender. I recommend that you contact your teacher, even if you submitted a concern.
In observance of Rosh Hasanah, there will be no instruction on Saturday, September 19th.
Please continue to be safe!
